We enjoy excellent and effective relations with the other three Christian churches of Southam, St. James Anglican Church, Our Lady and St Wulstan Roman Catholic Church and Southam Community Church.
The clergy of the four churches have regular meetings to have fellowship together, to pray together and to seek ways of working together and explore opportunities of co-operating together.
Activities in recent years have included
Advent and Lent Study Groups
Series of study groups have been led by representatives of each of the four churches in turn. It is always interesting and invigorating to worship together, pray together and learn from each other as we study God’s word together, sometimes getting involved in lively discussions, as we explore what it is that God wants from us, in our witness and service.
Good Friday prayers and Walk of Witness
We spend about an hour or so together in prayer and reflection during the morning, followed by a Walk of Witness along the streets of Southam.
Representatives from the four churches in Southam meet together regularly as a planning group, to reflect on what we have been doing, to make arrangements for on-going activities and to consider alternative, maybe new, ways for the four churches of Southam to express their common beliefs and to identify opportunities of working together.
